The battle that took place in Patay on June 18th 1429, decided the coronation campaign: the Britisharmy, led by Fastalf and Talbot, was trying to recapture Paris. The French army caught up with theBritish army at the entrance of the village of Patay. A stag having thrown himself into the ranks ofthe English, the latter uttered a cry to make him flee, which signaled their presence. A short andmortal battle broke out, at the end of which the British army was entirely destroyed.
