Successively shut-in in the castles of Beaulieu and Beaurevoir before being delivered to the British atCrotoy, while passing through Arras and Drugy, Joan arrived in Rouen on December 23rd, 1430. Aftera trial for heresy, led by Bishop Cauchon, Joan was set on fire at the Vieux-Marché square on May30th, 1431.
